Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground source heat pump installation and maintenance in Exeter, Exmouth, Devon, and Cornwall
You want to go green. But why go ground source?
Since setting up over 25 years ago, we’ve always wanted to offer the very best sustainable heating solutions to homes in and around Exeter, Exmouth, Devon, and Cornwall.
The latest ground heat source technology means that we’re now doing that in spades.
Rain or shine, the ground beneath our feet stays warm all year round.
Ground source heat pumps harness that energy, using pipes buried beneath the ground and out of sight, and transferring them to your radiators or underfloor heating system.
A more efficient, sustainable way to heat your home
Over half of energy bills in an average household comes from heating and hot water.
Ground source heat pumps provide a more efficient way to heat your home, giving you cheaper heating and hot water all the year round.
It’s sustainable but is my home suitable?
We know this isn’t something you take on lightly. We’ll be there to walk you through the whole process, from choosing the best system for your home to how to make the most of it.
You’ll want just the right design to meet your heating needs while balancing your budget with reducing carbon emissions.
We’ll talk you through all the available options. We’ll be on hand to help you every step of the way.
Plan ahead
With gas boilers being phased out and government grants readily available, it makes sense to make plans now.
No new gas boilers will be sold after 2035. And the International Energy Agency talks about making that 2025 if we really want to meet global carbon emissions targets.
To dig down into the numbers, to meet the government’s own net zero carbon emissions target, we need to cut heating emissions by 95% over the next 30 years. In 2017, the average household used 2,745kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) from heating. By 2050, we need this to be just 138kg.
No small ask, but the answer lies beneath our feet.
We all want to play our part. Ground source heat pumps allow you to do just that.
